I have always loved the idea of travelling, unfortunately I have had a severe fear of flying for most of my life that has stopped me from getting to many of the places I would like. It is a totally irrational fear and one that I am slowly getting over for a number of reasons and I would really like to try and broaden my travel horizons.
All in all, I have not done too badly so far. I have been to Scotland (many, many many times), Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Holland, Germany, Belgium(Briefly) but there are so many other places I would like to visit.

When it comes to foolish and dangerous sporting endeavours that are likely to lead to significant injury, I have always been more of a skater than a bike rider. This may in part be due to losing my two front teeth as the result of a loose front wheel when I was younger…

I have always, though, respected the spectacle of good street biking and actually in many ways think it is more artistic when captured on video than many other extreme sports and if you are talking spectacles then you can’t get much better than Danny Macaskill on film.

I’ve worked in the online industry in various capacities for around 8 years now. I started out doing basic HTML and CSS, gradually moving into doing some web development work and finally settled some years back on digital marketing, particularly SEO and PPC.

Over the years, I have built countless websites for friends or as part of my job. I have set up various blogs, both personal and for corporate use and I have also been involved in the development of online communities but throughout all of this time, I have never actually really gotten around to having a blog of my own.
